Ingram class schematic

Starship Ingram class upgrade to an Ambassador class style space control ship (using the old Star Trek movies' nomenclature for this type of starship).
The upgraded Ingram class uses energy resistant armor (enhances deflector grid using gravitons), Ambassador class style warp nacelles, five photon torpedo launchers, three tracked phasor arrays (1 ventral saucer, 1 dorsal saucer, 1 ventral 2nd hull), and 2 mega-phaser cannons (one on each warp nacelle pylon). 
This ship is vastly superior to its predecessor and is equivalent in combat capability to an Ambassador class ship.
However, it is a poor science and/or exploration vessel and is thus restricted to military/combat duties only.
There are 24 ships in this class.
